The first Ute Inn 'Coffee House Tuesday' was awsome with Dave and Rich from the old Bad Dogs. It was really nice to have something to do on a Tuesday that didn't go too late. Everyone there had a blast! Thursday 'Trivia Night' was packed! Lots of new faces -- Kim and Robbie know how to have fun with the crowd! Lots of audience participation. Wednesday 'Open Mic Night' just keeps getting better...more new performers and the regulars seem to be honing their skills to perfection. Many of the guitar players are signing up for 'Coffee House Tuesday'.

Coming This Week - Jan 18, 2010

'The Wheel' game has picked up momentum on Mondays at 6pm. Everyone gets a chance to win great prizes and there is no cover charge. Why not get out on a Monday and have a little fun with the chance of something free! 'Vanna' and Robbie keep it fast paced and lively.

'Coffee House Tuesday' features Dave ?? (I'll try to find his name tonight when I get home). Next week Troy Allen and Mark Osborn are playing. They both are veterans from playing in the top clubs in the early 90's. Featuring popular country and both classic and new rock adapted to acoustic guitars.

Wednesday 'Open Mic Night' shows no signs of slowing down! Each week our regulars show up and dazzle us with incredible talent. The continued popularity is bringing in new performers each week, much to the audiences pleasure.

Thursday is 'Trivia' with Kim and Robbie is almost too much fun. Where do they get these questions anyway? We're amazed at how much everyone knows! Free food and bar tabs for the winning teams (1 to 6 people) and fun for all!

Friday's free live music is Brickhouse, a Woodland Park favorite. They feature the 'Dr of blues', Rocky Wallace and an incredible 16 year old female drummer. They will rock your socks off with upbeat blues and classic rock favorites. Always a fun time.

Football dominates the 65" big screen TV this weekend as the playoffs continue. Saturdays we still host Karaoke with Peter Fischer for those trying for stardom (and us in the audience that just enjoy listening) . Starting Super Bowl Sunday we will be showing classic movies with free popcorn. A different movie at 2 and 6 (Super Bowl will take precedence). Why sit at home when you can have some fun with friends and watch movies you love!

Hey guys
This is Loretta K and Warren H up in Alaska. Miss the Ute and Woodland Park. I just wanted to let Erin know that while we were in Wisconsin this spring, I got a copy of the WI fishing news and a nice story and picture is in it about the fish her friend caught ice fishing. I want to mail it to her if she doesnt have a copy. I will send it to the bar or email me if otherwise. Have a great summer!! Miss you all! Cheers!!

I just saw your comment (4/15). We don't have any night bartenders that are male except the boyfriend of Karen comes in and barbacks for her. Please come in and see me if there is a problem. Blog is not the best way to communicate. (Maybe you were at Bucks?)
